
Post-Tensioning: Enhancing Structural Load Capacity and Performance
STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES manufactures and designs post-tensioning systems to increase or restore the load-carrying capacity for a variety of structures. Post-tensioning consists of high-strength steel reinforcement that connects to the structure at the anchor points. Ideal for enhancing load capacity, addressing deflection issues, and preventing excessive cracking, these systems offer tailored levels of capacity and serviceability improvement.


External Post-Tensioning
Tendons are installed outside the structural element but may be placed in grouted ducts to improve durability and/or fire resistance.

Internal Post-Tensioning
Installed within a Tstrata Enlargement System or may be installed into an existing member through core drilling or other methods. These systems utilize the structural element itself, or the new enlargement, to provide required durability and fire protection.
