Engineered for Longevity
A leader in stay cable technology, STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES’ VSL Stay Cable System features individually protected strands anchored with fixed or adjustable anchorages. The system is designed to accommodate an unlimited number of strands with independent corrosion protection, installation, stressing, removal, and replacement capabilities.
VSL’s systems are durable in the most aggressive environments and satisfy the requirements for a 100-year service life. Our team not only manufactures and supplies these systems but also ensures their installation exceeds the Post-Tensioning Institute’s (PTI) standards.

Compact and Lightweight Systems Ease Handling and Installation
Our cable systems and equipment are designed to be compact – smaller anchorages are easier to handle and to install and the tight arrangement of strands in the free length reduces the diameter of cables decreasing wind loads. Installation of the cables and stressing operations are completed with lightweight equipment – freeing up valuable resources on your job for other tasks.
The Most Flexible System Available
The VSL Stay Cable System features strands that are individually protected and anchored with fixed or adjustable anchorages. By design, the system allows for an unlimited number of strands; independent strand anchoring; individual strand corrosion protection; and individual strand erection, stressing, removal, and replacement.

Anchorage Systems
Our leak-proof compact anchorages arrive on site as completely assembled units -engineered specifically for your project. All corrosion coatings to meet the specific project service project life requirements are factory applied.
Damping Systems
We offer custom-engineered damping systems that are the most efficient in reducing the effects of wind and rain-induced cable vibrations.

VSL Pylon System
Our systems are flexible – allowing them to be anchored in the pylon in different configurations including state-of-the-art- saddles with individual passages for each strand.
Strand Installation & AMS Stressing
Strand by strand cable installation allows for maximum flexibility. Our Automatic Monostrand Stressing (AMS) System is lightweight, hand-held, and retains a digital recording of all stressing operations.
