Robert W. “Bob” Sward, P.E.

Bob Sward has 36 years of experience in the design and application of post-tensioning of both new and existing structures, includes segmental (CIP & Precast) and stay cable supported bridges, heavy lifting and repair and strengthening of structures.

He is active in the American Segmental Bridge Association (ASBI), American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the Post-Tensioning Institute (PTI).  He is a past president for PTI and is a founding member of ACI 376 – “Concrete Structures for Refrigerated Liquefied Gas Containment.”

He is a licensed Engineer in 8 states and is currently Vice President of Business Development for Structural Technologies.

  • Segmental erection equipment and methods
